PETER GAUTHIER Obituary

PETER GAUTHIER Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 16, 2015 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Doris. Devoted father of Samantha and Monica (Francisco). Proud Opa of Sophia and Micah. Peter will be missed immensely by his sisters Gaye Gervais and Valerie (John Deyell). Peter was a dedicated employee for Toronto Public Health for 35 years. Peter will be lovingly remembered by all his family, friends and members of St. Philip's Lutheran Church. The family wish to thank the VON Nurses, Dr. Hung, Mildred McAuley and Pastor Tuula. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling and Islington Aves.), Friday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service at St. Philip's Lutheran Church, 61 West Deane Park Dr., Toronto, on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations in Peter's memory would be appreciated in lieu of flowers to St. Philip's Lutheran Church or Trillium Health Partners Foundation. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

Peter was my first manager at Toronto Public Health. He was a truly decent man with a great sense of humour. He treated me well, always "had my back" and made me feel like a valued member of the team. I wish there were more like him.
