Peter GRAY Obituary

GRAY, Peter John I see by this old photograph you've been through better days - Stony Island Ave (PJG) Age 70 of Wellesley Place, Toronto, passed away on January 5, 2018 at his home following a long and difficult fight with Huntington Disease (HD). Born on January 26, 1947 in Aberdeen, Scotland, he was the son of Peter Gray and Margaret (Cormack) Gray. The family immigrated to Canada in June 1952. Peter was a professional actor, singer and songwriter who received awards for his song writing, including the 1975 BMI Canada Ltd Certificate of Honour for outstanding contribution to Canadian music. Peter is survived by his wife, Nola Wale (Barrie), stepchildren Susan and Stephen, his brother Gerry (Charlottetown) and numerous cousins in Canada and the UK. His parents predeceased him. There will be no funeral service. His remains have been cremated. There will be a Celebration of Life in the spring at the GH Hogle Funeral Homes – Mimico Chapel.
