POSAVAC, PETER Peacefully, at Amica Bronte Retirement Home on the morning of December 27, 2018, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Vera (nee Putric) for 61 years. Cherished father of Rosemary Vassallo (George) and Katharin Buhlman (Tom). Sadly missed by grandchildren Nadene Riopelle (Robert) and their family Porter and Adelaide and Krystal Davey (Ryan) and their family Keaton, Owen and Aila. Survived by brother Tony (Anna). Sister-in-law Mira Kutlesa (Blaz). Remembered by many nieces, nephews and all his extended family. Peter worked for Ford Motor Company for forty years, was a long and faithful member of Holy Trinity Church. The family will receive friends at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Croatian Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity, 2110 Trafalgar Road, Oakville on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ian Anderson House Hospice would be appreciated.
