PETER RICKARDS Obituary

PETER DEAN HAROLD RICKARDS His sunrise was December 7, 1969 and he slipped quietly and with dignity into the sunset on December 31, 2014. Photographer, Filmmaker, Cyber- artist and cutting-edge author, Peter leaves parents, Peter L.T. Rickards (Barrister, Solicitor and Permanent Deacon) and Diana Rickards (nee Nosworthy), sisters Rachael Rickards and Suzanne Raja, brother-in-law Satyen Raja, nephew Shaman Raja, niece Satori Raja, uncles Alan (Jamaica) and John (Anguilla), aunt Audrey Cobussen (Holland), many cousins, dear friends and all who dwell in the "Afflicted Yard" to celebrate his life and the many gifts he shared so generously. Friends will be received at the Scott Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel" (289 Main St. N., Brampton) on Thursday, January 15, 2015, 4 - 6 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Merciful Redeemer Parish Church (2775 Erin Centre Blvd., Mississauga). Interment will take place in Jamaica at a later date. Our thanks to Drs. Lorna Teape, Andrew Johnson, Geoffrey Liu and Herbert Ho Ping Kong and the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital. In lieu of floral tributes, the family would appreciate your donations to the Dr. Herbert Ho Ping Kong Centre of Excellence for Education and Practice at Toronto Western Hospital.
