Philip was my childhood friend when I lived near Chester and Browning Ave in Toronto in the late 50’s early 60’s before I left for Asia... I reached out too late. Rest In Peace XO (Mike Smith)

Thinking of Philip as the 5th year is nearly gone.

Philip remains a remarkable example of kindness, hope and determination. Still in love.

Shiela, I can't believe a year has passed already. When I think of Philip, Lake Simcoe at the cottage will always come to mind. Looking for golf balls, fishing and watching movies down by the Lake. Wonderful memories of good times with Philip and the entire Galbraith family .

Hi Sheila: I'm so sorry to hear about Philip's death. And I'm sorry we lost touch so long ago. As children we had a paper route together. In those days the job included getting the cash payment in return for a little receipt stub. We took turns with that each week as we walked the route, collecting from the various customers in the neighbourhood. Some of them were a little frightening so we'd do those together. We had good fun imitating some of the characters we encountered. I'll remember a good friend with a big heart.

To offer condolences seems inadequate. Philip will always an integral part of my memories of time spent at the Galbraith home. I will always remember a happy little boy who loved music and the arts. It is fitting Philip achieved his dreams in NYC. Libby would have been so proud. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Galbraith family.

Hello Sheila. I'm so sorry to read of Philip's passing. It's been many many years since Philip and I last had contact, but I clearly recall his passion for theatre. We got to know each other better when we worked together upstairs at the bingo that your dad ran, and I also recall a few evenings when we went to the theatre back in those days before he went off to follow his dream in NYC. Those are good memories. Hope you and Sean are well.
