PHILIP RALPH PETRILLO It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we say goodbye to dear Philip who passed away peacefully on January 10, 2009 at the Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket at the age of 90. Deeply treasured husband of Bernice (Kowalski), his wife of 68 years. Father of the late Alan Petrillo. Lovingly remembered by his son Leonard and his wife Linda. Cherished grandfather of Larissa and her husband Jay Goto, Matthew Petrillo and his wife Mieko Ogiwara of Vancouver, Ann-Marie and her husband Carey Riddell, Karen and her husband Jody McNeill and Stefanie Hartas. Loving great-grandfather of Nigel, Trent, Lauren and Madison. Philip will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Walter Kowalski, and sisters-in-law Lillian Cameron, Mary Kerr, and Sophie Kolbec and by his many nieces and nephews. A special person, Philip's ever present smile brought sunshine and laughter to all he met, he will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Philip during the visitation at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 15347 Yonge Street, Aurora, on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at 11 a.m. Private interment Prospect Cemetery.
