PHYLLIS GALT Obituary

GALT, PHYLLIS JEAN Jean Galt passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the same Toronto hospital where she was born 94 years ago. She will be greatly missed by her nephew, David, her niece, Sheila (Anders), and her great-nephews, Peter and Daniel Norberg. Jean was predeceased by her parents, Ian and Mabel, as well as her brother, John (Rena). On Saturday, September 24th, there will be an art show and visiting at 1 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 3 p.m. at the Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home at Danforth Ave. and Main St. Please visit Jean's memorial page for further details, including streaming link and RSVP to Sheila. Jean suggested donations, in lieu of flowers, to either First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto, or SeedChange.

Hi David & Sheila,
I just hear about Jean this morning. I'm a family cousin that lives in Calgary, Alberta. Did make a trip to Jeans in Toronto. Jean did come out to the Johnston farm in NW Gore, Ontario to the farm. We spent hours going through old family pictures.
I got alot of family history from my cousin Jean. I'm going to miss her. I just had to say Hi Too you.
What a great person she was. I have a Tree on ancestry were I have a picture of us looking at lots of family pictures.
