It is incredibly good Pierre's daughter Denise married Doug Worsley, especially if Doug is a son of, or related to Gump Worsely. I am glad and proud my father Paul died September 6, 2017, the same week as Pierre. Our neighborhood is hockey playing Blackhawk fans!

I remember the many visits when we all lived in Milton. Your parents were always gracious and giving. I also knew, when helping hold drywall that your dad was installing on the basement bathroom ceiling - that I might want to think twice about letting go! May your many memories keep him close in your thoughts!

TO THE PILOTE FAMILY
MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO PIERRE'S CHILDREN.I had the Privilege of meeting your dad at the blackhawks convention a few years ago.I'm a huge hawks fan my entire life and I was a bit nervous when I approached him but as soon as he said hello he put me at ease.Pierre was a true gentleman, soft spoken and very kind.we chatted for about 15 minutes and he signed my hawks hat& a great photo of himself.not only did the hawks lose a great ambassador but the entire hockey world did as well.may his soul rest in peace and may all of his love ones find comfort as they grieve knowing that he was a great man humble and kind

To the Pilote children - Pierre, Denise, Renee and David.
On behalf of myself and the Hall family, sincere condolences in the loss of you father.
Pierre was a great teammate and a great friend and he was always a positive influence on everyone.
We shared many milestones together; the 1961 Stanley Cup, our induction to the Hall of Fame together on the same day, all star teams and having both our numbers retired by the Blackhawks.
Our wives, Pauline and Annie were dear friends over the years as well.
I will hold on to those memories and I know there are many, many great memories for you to call upon when you remember Pierre too.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was a friend of Pierre`s way back in his Bird dog days. One day at his farm in Georgetown we were out with a couple of dogs.Pierre had his champion German Short hair pointer Trophy.I had an English pointer. We were standing talking and I said English Pointers were the better dog of the two breeds.Trophy walked over and peed on my leg. We laughed about that a few times over the years GOOD BY my old friend.Rest In Peace.See You on the other side.

My father Frank Durante, from Fort Erie had the pleasure of coaching Pierre not in hockey but in baseball and always talked about how Pierre could have played professional baseball as well. My dad always spoke highly of Pierre and considered him a friend. Sad to hear of his passing.
