PRISCILLA GALLOWAY Obituary

GALLOWAY, PRISCILLA ANNE July 22, 1930 – October 28, 2018 Noted Canadian author Priscilla Galloway has shuffled off this mortal coil! On Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland; predeceased by husbands, Bev Galloway and Howard Collum. Priscilla is missed and celebrated by daughter Noël Macartney (Wayne Hayball deceased), sons Walt (Jan) and Glenn, grandchildren Leigh (Steven), Laney (Alan), Ryan, Hugh (Kate) and Saurin (Nix) and great-grandchildren Simon, Andrew, Julia, Marley, Miranda and Lorelei. Our deepest thanks to Dr. Douglas Donald and his staff for their ongoing care and compassion over many years, for the kindness and care Priscilla received at the Villa Care Centre and to the wonderful ICU staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital. As Priscilla wished, cremation has taken place. Messages of condolence will be received at www.leclaircremationcentre.ca A celebration of Priscilla's extraordinary life will take place next summer. If desired, donations in her memory to CANSCAIP (Canadian Society of Children's Authors, Illustrators and Performers) or the Writers' Union of Canada would be appreciated.
