RAY DANIELS Obituary

RAY DANIELS (Retired TCDSB) 1947 - 2013 At home, June 17, 2013 after a brief illness. Loving soul mate and best buddy of Pat. Devoted proud father of Andrea. Loyal brother to Bill and Pat (Jim) Patterson. Son of the late Charles and Evelyn Daniels. Special computer advisor to sister-in-law Marlene Kennedy. Nephew of that special aunt Rosemary Holland and Alvin Daniels. Uncle to Jeff and Jennifer of Bobcaygeon. Throughout his 29 year career Ray influenced many young people in the Gifted Education Programs, Computer Workshops and Library. He was a gifted educator and supportive mentor to many. He cherished and kept those welcome thank you notes from parents and students, along with every scrounged piece of computer equipment. There are many budding "Bill Gates", Star reporters, and lawyers that were guided and encouraged by Mr. D. Sadly cremation has taken place and a memorial to be held later. In Ray's memory and following his example, do a good deed often. Gone far too soon, but his legacy lives on.

Dear Pat and Andrea. We are truly sorry to hear of your loss. We both enjoyed working with Ray for many years at St. Catherine, and counted him as one of our good friends. His sense of humour was always there. He was one of a kind, and will be greatly missed. Love, Rose Cusimano, and Stephen O'Halloran.

Dear Pat,
Please accept my sincere condolences to you and your daughter Adrea, and to our cousins Bill and Pat. I know Uncle Alvin and Aunt Rosemary will be saddened by Ray's early departure as well.
We have some wonderful memories of earlier times when we were growing up and when we saw more of our cousins and members of our extended family.

NO TEARS

Shed no tears for me.
