We will never forget him. He had this way about him that made you feel that he wasn't just being kind; he really cared about you and he was always glad to see you. That no matter what he was doing, nothing was more important than taking the time to talk with you. Very few people have that gift, but Ray was one of them. He will always remain in our hearts.

Rest in peace my friend. Godspeed in your next journey.

Ray, I have not seen you in a long time. Fond memories of our times together from the 80's brings a smile to my face. I'll always cherish those moments. I'll always remember your wonderful smile, your happy disposition, and all the fun times we shared as teenagers. I'll always think of you when I hear music by Erasure.

You have been in my thoughts and your family is in my prayers. God Bless all of you.

Ray Daniels was a kind, sweet, hard working, caring person who made our work days at Lucy McCormick school brighter. Ray cared about the very special students at Lucy McCormick and always had patience and time for them. Ray pitched in whenever anyone needed help lifting or carrying things or bringing things in from the car - Ray was always willing to help staff and students. He was cheerful and calm with a quiet and engaging sense of humor. I often think of the Saturday when we held a bar-be-cue fundraiser at Sobey's where Ray began the day with me before 8:30 a.m. and was one of the last to leave! He lifted, toted and cooked at the BBQ! Ray was a wonderful person and it was an honour to work with him. We miss Ray.
