Oh, Reta.....just discovered you passed away. Jim I'm very sorry for your loss. You may not remember me as my friendship with Reta was a lifetime ago, like 30 years. We worked together at Teela and then she turned me onto a job at Unisys where we worked together with also her sister Lesa. We had a lot of good times. Cannot believe so much time has passed and that Reta is gone. Reta, Debbie and I were known as the 3 muskateers and had many fun times together. We all lost touch over the years, it happens unfortunately but I still remember her fun and bubbly personality and how when she was dieting at Teela she would have lonely weiners, no bun. I could go on and on, really sorry for your loss. I will always think fondly of Reta. Linda Lowry

Sorry for your loss

December 9, 2019

I remember the first time I met Reta in my parent's house in Scarborough and it was instant friendship. I loved her right from the start. Reta's red hair suited her and her temperament. She could get mad and it would make us laugh, and eventually she would laugh too, take a chill pill ... Reta and Jim were well suited and they depended on each other.
Reta and I use to be the same size except for height, ha. We shared clothes and shoes and liked to laugh a lot too !
We too spent many hours on the phone
over the years and it is still hard to believe she is gone. Reta was always the first one to get Christmas cards done, how did she do it. When I broke my arm around Christmas she sent me homemade cookies because I couldn't bake. She always remembered my birthday week and the card would have lots of xx and oo. It's good to remember. Hugs and kisses back to you sweet, thoughtful sister with the bright red hair!!
Good bye Reta I miss youand will never ever forget you... until we meet again☺Nancy

Taken way too young and too soon, but leaves us all with wonderful loving, happy memories to which will help to never forget her. Your grandchildren (Liam, Amelia and Ashley from Patrick and I), will honour and cherish your love and kindness in their memories for the rest of their lives.
RIP Reta, YOU WILL be missed...

I am having a small memorial service sometime in the spring at Trinity church
At a regular 11 oclock service.
Reta got to hateing Facewaste (Jacks name)
At first she wanted it.Then she wanted it turned off it was makeing her sad.
Reta used to like going for cruises together in the area like straford.
But then distracted driveing got bad and we recently got ran off the road.
Reta recently said to me the laws are too late those apps and phones have everyone addicted to them .They can't stop themselves!
Reta loved watching the leafs together on saturday nite with Don. We saw Don's last show together she did'nt agree with him on everything. She has irish boat people heritage. She also said when the leafs win the cup again i'm going out and buying us a 26er of crown royal to celebrate.Oh boy.
On our last big cruise together Reta reluctantly said it was ok to take the mustang but take it easy.On our gentle cruise in the stang we drove by sparta dragstrip that Jay ran.She made cookies for Jay momma Dan and Ken and the rest of his gang.Reta had'nt been down to the track since i got the mustang last time was Amelia's birthday and Amelia took the video of me racing. Reta's videos needed some work.
So i was quite surprised when Reta agreed to make a pass, afterwards she met some of my drag gang. Dale (the lover in the silver bullet).
Fred (Dales bud in the red rocket),and Chris Black Lightning , Dandy Andy in his camaro ,NITRO Tommy in his Black mustang
and everyone else down there and grand bend dragstrip.
THE WALL sounds like a sound track but in reality it's where Reta wanted us to be together for all time.Somewhere to go to.
Said wall is at Forest Lawn across from ctc.She wanted to see it from the road and
i secured a great spot.
As for the boys your mother loved you very much and missed seeing you more. She worried about you both equally.
Your sweetee .
