RICHARD GROSSO August 24, 1935 - July 25, 2014 Richard passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with mesothelioma at the age of 78. Richard is predeceased by his loving parents Amedeo and Fiorentina and sisters Michela and Elsa and step-mother Angelina. Survived by his loving wife Mary (nee D'Amico) and son Richard (Enza). Cherished grandfather of John and Matthew. Devoted brother of Louis (Emily), Michelina (Herb) and Joseph (Elizabeth). Richard will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. Friends and family will be received at DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre, 8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Church, 1789 Lawrence Avenue West, Toronto, Ontario, at 10:00 a.m. If so desired, donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation for Lung Cancer Research would be appreciated by the family. Private cremation and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery at a future date.
