Richard Train Obituary

TRAIN, Richard Henry - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on February 10, 2011 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his wife of 53 years Joan (nee Thompson). Loving father of Craig (Lisa), Todd (Kathy), Mark (Susan) and Lisa. Devoted and loving Papa to Kayla, September, Carly, Cameron, SheIby, Zachary, Christian, Chantal and Carolyn. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially Annie. Family and friends will be received at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME SCARBOROUGH, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (just west of Warden, 416-773-0933), on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 1 p.m. with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.

So sorry to hear about Richard. He was a great man and father to his family. We have terrific memories of sharing good times with him and Joan. We will dearly miss him and his sense of humour.
