I have learned from Lyn that your dear husband has passed away. We had dinner with yourself and Rick in the back yard of the Savidge's home quite a few years ago now. Lyn speaks of you often
and remarks on what a beautiful home and family you have. I hope that your well-being will be sustained by the love that your Grandchildren and children can impart.

I worked with Rick for all of 10 months in 2001 and had the pleasure of many great conversations with him in the office. I always enjoyed spending time with him and his personality was evident in everything he did and said. You always knew where he stood. I enjoyed hearing about his cruises, his cottage and his family. I had the pleasure of spending lunch with him a couple of weeks ago and am glad I did. My condolences to Rosemary and the entire family.

It is sad to hear that Rick has left us for a while but we know he will that there will now be happy reunions in heaven. I remember our many happy times as children while our fathers played cards and we children shared times together in crowded sleeping quarters. As the song says Thanks for the memories

We were saddened to hear the news of Rick's passing.
I met Rick in the late 60's in high school. I remember hearing that great laugh the first day. Rick and I developed a wonderful friendship over that last year of school and continued to spend time together every morning on the train to work downtown. He would help you start your day off in a positive manner with that big smile and humouous outlook.
I will surely miss him.

I will always remember Rick's Holly Jolly spirit -- whistling a song or singing in his office or in the hallway, discussing his bright ideas with great confidence to co-workers and clients, and of course no one will miss his loud chuckles and laughs.
No dull moments during my tenure as Rick's Associate in the Brampton Branch from 2006 - 2008, and I truly treasure the opportunity working for a great man, a kind Boss, a loving husband, a responsible father, and grandfather. Glad to see Rick's website is still active - one of my main contribution!

I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of Rick's passing. I knew Rick through my daughter Melissa Gauvin and Eryn.
Rick was always gracious and kind to Melissa and me.
We use to speak to each other at school functions as the girls were growing up.

After working closely with Rick for the last 15 years I can say that he will surely be missed in our offices, and can only imaging the void that will be left at home. I'll miss his talent for conversation and his professionalism.
Rick and I had an ongoing challenge as to who'd be the first in to make the coffee. Since his move to Alliston, he gave me a bit of a head start on that, but always encouraged me to make it a bit stronger. Ricks coffee measurement was simple, just tilt the can and pour until the filter was full.
Rick, you'll be dearly missed. My condolences to Rosemary and family.
