God has granted me words here as I had none (due to my immense shock and sadness) upon learning of my dear friend Rina's passing. My deepest condolences to Chris, Alyssa and Julia and the extended Mangos and Volpe families on the passing (to be with the Lord) of my dear friend Rina (and who was also my former teaching colleague at SRWS). I will forever cherish our friendship and and the camaraderie we shared as colleagues. She always talked about her family, her husband Chris and especially her two beautiful daughters Alyssa and Julia. Rina was also very passionate about teaching her students and was always thinking about her next lesson that she had to prepare! Rina's 'wheels' were always turning when it came to teaching, mentoring and nurturing her students! I learned a lot about Rina's simple joys in life that she held so dear: her faith first, her family and her passion for teaching her students. I am a better teacher and more importantly, a better human being, for having been so blessed to have known Rina during my lifetime and I will forever remember her and cherish the memories we shared as friends and colleagues! Goodbye....for now and may you eternally be wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus in heaven! May God continue to grant comfort and His Peace to Chris, Alyssa and Julia during this mourning period as He promises in His Word (Matthew 5:4).

We are so saddened by your loss. Mrs. Volpe was an amazing teacher for our daughter Veronika. Rina was kind, funny, and taught with joy and energy that made all the children feel special and cared for. God Bless you all. She is remembered by us. Please know she had our love and respect. Words do not exist to describe the immense feeling of disbelief I have at learning that Rina has passed. Over just a short time, I was blessed to come to know one of the funniest, most kindred spirits I have ever met. Rest In Peace dear, sweet Rina.
