RINALDO MORELLO Obituary

RINALDO PETER MORELLO On Friday, January 22, 2016, Peter traded his heartbeat for wings at the age of 87. He was predeceased by his wife Anne. He is survived by his loving daughter Joanne, grandchildren Brandon, Jordan and Andrew and great-grandchildren Ryker- Sky (Rachell) and Carson. Brother to Ida Wood and godfather to Marie Dowling. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie, entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 26th from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m. in the chapel.

Joanne, your Dad (and Mom) were a huge part of our lives especially at Nona and Nona's cottage in the summers. We called him "Naldi". His dry humour had all kids and adults alike laughing all the time.

Mom has often told the story of when she (and he sisters Marie and Lolita) were kids that Naldi would send them to a school with "lunch" - a sandwich made with panty hose as the filling!

In recent years he spent time with Nona and Auntie Mimi poking fun at just about everything, acting so serious, then revealing his amazing smile - and enjoy the fun too.

Naldi had a kind heart and a gentle soul. We will miss him dearly. Our world has seen a light go out but Naldi's memory will live on with his extended family forever.
