My dog Diva was IN LOVE with Ritchie who could not pass our house without having her lean right against his legs for her morning love. He was the kind of man who was just always there... In such a good way. I can't imagine how his good friends and family must feel. Love from Margot. Diva and Dante.

I am truly numb to this terrible passing of a wonderful human being. Those he has left behind are touched for having known him and spent time with him. Where he is going, there had better be lots of room as he is taking many hearts with him.

I am in shock and so saddened to hear of Ritchie's sudden death. I saw him daily walking Bailey through the park and he always stopped to say hello.
You will be missed.

Our family;s condolences go out to all Ritchie's family at this time. The only thing larger than his heart was that laugh, that one that had all within earshot having their spirits lifted... Bill, Gwen, Scotty and Lindsey, I'm certain Joyce and Tammy in Calgary are just as shocked and dismayed as we are here, and know that their love comes your way at these times as well.

Richard you were truly an AMAZING person. You were there for anyone and everyone. I remember when I was so very ill in the hospital and you would come visit me and wash my hair with a bowl and cup while I laid in bed. I will never forget you, you were a great friend.
