ANNIS, ROBERT "BOB" FRANKLIN July 23, 1941 - August 7, 2018 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bob Annis on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Bob came to North A. as a filler-in when our newly-appointed principal died in August and we opened in Sept with no principal (and were too small to have a vice-principal.) He brought the community together and held the fort until another temp was assigned. I think this was his first exposure to the office role and he did well. I recall he had all the staff over to the house for a Christmas gathering before he was assigned back to his regular school.(John was in a high-chair then!!!)
I was also lucky enough to have Elizabeth in my kindergarten class before they moved out of the area. It seems a long time ago but the memories are great. I hope good memories will comfort family and friends as they deal with this loss.

I can't tell you how many times Bob called to see how things were doing in Owen Sound or if I had "Gram's" chili sauce recipe or numerous other recipes. He was a caring friend. My Sympathy to all. Ann Kelly
