Robert Graham Backus

ROBERT GRAHAM BACKUS (June 27, 1974 - December 9, 2009) It is with profound sadness that the family of Robert 'Gray' Backus wishes to announce his passing on December 9, 2009. Gray was deeply loved by his wife Kim (Wright) and his sons Jackson and Elliot, his parents, father Robert Backus (Gail Backus), his mother Linda Backus (Ken Moores) and his devoted sister Jennifer (Claes Eriksson, much more than a brother-in-law). Gray leaves many cousins, aunts and uncles, stepbrothers and sister, along with their children. Gray's gentle nature, quick wit and incredible musical ability will keep his memory forever alive in the hearts of all whose lives he touched. There will be a private family service before interment at the Necropolis Cemetery. In support of Kim, Jackson and Elliot, a fundraising gathering will be held on Monday, December 21, from 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. at Sneaky Dee's Tavern, 431 College at Bathurst (416-603-3090).
