BRICK, ROBERT (BOB) Today we announce the loss of Robert (Bob) Brick who passed away on August 22, 2022, after a short illness. Bob was born on July 9, 1950 to Catherine and Frederick Brick. Bob was a great friend, brother, father and grandfather. While certainly sad at his passing, we are all grateful for the extraordinary benefit to having had Bob in our life. He was a constant source of love and guidance; we are all much better for that presence. Bob retired from a lengthy career dedicated to meeting the needs of his fellow Canadians. After serving in the Canadian military, he worked in the field of real estate management at the municipal, provincial and federal level. He interacted with numerous individuals in those roles and achieved far too much to list in this announcement. He leaves behind his beloved sister, Ruth (his dear sis); beloved brother, Rick; and cherished sister-in-law, Joan. Also left behind, is Bob's treasured daughter, Deborah; and wonderful son-in-law, William; along with his pride and joy grandchildren, Joshua and Violet, who he loved and cherished dearly. The family would like to thank Bob's special friend and nurse, Jen, for all her care and friendship. We would also like to thank Dr. Goldman, and Bob's primary nurse, Michelle. Thanks also go to the Sunnybrook oncology wing, including of special note, Nesan. In lieu of flowers and donations, the family recommends taking time with loved ones and making memories instead.
