"Boberdy," as I used to call him, was a phenomenally generous and kind man to me. I remember weekends at his cottage and attending filmings of shows he produced. He spoiled me like his own son, and I grew up on all the games and toys he gave me. I'm very sorry to discover so late that his life was cut short.

Twenty years ago, when I was new in Canada he gave me my first job in the industry. He did not ask for "Canadian experience", he wanted a job done! I will be always thankful for the chance given. RIP, boss...

I'm so sorry to hear of Robert's passing. I have great memories of the passion Robert carried for both Sam and Theo. He was a very hands on, loving father. My sincere condolences to Deborah, Sam, Theo and the family
