Robert George "Bob" Foote

FOOTE, Robert George "Bob" - Born: July 10, 1929 in Welland, Ontario Bob closed his eyes for the last time on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at his home in New Hamburg. He courageously fought cancer for eight months without ever losing hope. Predeceased by his beloved wife Beth (2011) and daughter Wendy Cook (2005). Bob is survived by his children Michael (Jane) Foote of Brantford, Trish (Larry) Collins of Kitchener, Robert (Gaye) Foote of Luxembourg and Heather (Tim) Shantz of New Hamburg. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Kelly (Sam), Rob (Mindi), Stacy, Martin, George, Jeff, Mitchell, Ashley, Andrew, Charles, Stephen, Joshua, Jordan and Rachel. Dear great-grandfather to Derek and Stephen. Survived by brother Blair (Sandy) Foote and sister-in-law Faye (Don) Darroch. Bob was predeceased by his sister Joan Honey and her husband Terry and brother-in-law Bob Shortreed. In keeping with Bob wishes, cremation has taken place. Bob will be laid to rest along side his wife Beth following a private family service in the spring. Interment Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
