ROBERT "BOB" KARMAN

KARMAN, ROBERT "BOB" Robert Karman, in his 89th year, loving husband of Beverly (nee Seymour), passed away peacefully, at Nanaimo General Hospital, on Thursday, March 31st, 2022. Father of sons, Gregory Karman (Sioban) and the late Derek Karman; Carolyn, mother of the boys; grandfather to Liam and Quinn Karman; brother to Anna Mae (Stefan Willie); uncle to the late Steven Willie (Lenny), Richard Willie (Karen), Robert Willie (Iris), late Edward Willie (Jennifer), and Eric Willie (Margo); and his beloved dog, Woofey. Born in Montreal, Quebec, on February 17th, 1933, to Paula and Frank Karman. Robert spent his early childhood in Montreal and then Toronto. Robert was an artist and recognized as an award winning photographic re-toucher for major studios in Canada and the USA. Robert shared art studios with Wally Hearn, the late Mike Skinner, and the late Geoff Turner. Bob's love of adventure extended to his passion for sailing in Ontario, and included a transatlantic journey. Robert was cremnated in Nanaimo, BC, and will be placed to rest at Ebenezer Relessy Church, near Orangeville, Ontario, at a future date.
