To family and friends of Bob we send our condolences. We were deeply saddened to hear of the sudden death of Bob, one of the sweetest, kindest people we have known. Bob worked for us for 7 years and we always marveled at and remember his complete dedication to his beloved CTC 273. He even loved to visit on his day off! He was a man very well loved in his community. He will surely be missed. RIP Bob.

I worked with Bob at store 273 for over 24 years. We always didn't see eye to eye on everything but we always managed to be friends. We spent quite a few evenings after the store closed doing new releases and backups on the computers, sometimes into the wee hours of the morning. When we at the old store with the computer office in the basement with our little furry friends. We have seen a few dealers come and go but we always hung in. We were a family at Canadian Tire Store 273. The xmas parties were always entertaining to say the least. Now I have retired and moved away from Toronto, but I managed to get to your retirement luncheon. I always thought we could have lunch across the street but now I will have to go to Duckworths with June and John and we'll laugh about all the good times at store 273.

Bob was the rarest of human beings, He had a huge capacity for caring and sharing, In 1984 I asked him if he would help the charity I worked for with their Share A Christmas Program ( Community Centre 55 ). As the Execuitve Director of the charity, Bob helped me deliver Christmas to hundreds of ids every year and in fact I can attest to the fact, that he with his employer, helped thousands of kids over 28 years, We could have never reached so many, without Bob's direct involvement. The man is a Prince, I will never forget him. His capacity to love and to care and to approach things with dignity and care and compassion in the most humblest of ways makes him a person of tremendous substance,
