ROBERT (BOB) STANLEY MAGEE Peacefully in his 88th year on May 5, 2012 at Scarborough General Hospital. Beloved husband of Joyce. Devoted father of Stephen (Diane), Susan (Michael) and Janice (Gregg). Sadly missed by grandchildren Kim (Chris), Allison, Katie (Maurice), Jonathan, Sean, Nicholas, Mitchel, Evan and great- grandchildren Franklyn, Henry and Gabriel. Predeceased by brother Jim. Fondly remembered by brother Ted (Shirley), sisters-in-law Joan Magee, Joan Gassyt (Peter), Judy Phipps (Fred), Ruth Farmer and Betty Farmer as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Bob's love of restoring antique furniture lives on in the homes of family and friends. Most of all he cherished his one-on-one chats with his grandchildren. Bob was a World War II Veteran (RCAF) and a memeber of The Royal Canadian Legion (258). The family wishes to thank the Veterans Association for their assistance during his long illness. We also wish to thank the medical staff at both Rouge Valley Health Centre and Scarborough General Hospital for their tireless efforts and care. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at MCDougall & Brown Funeral Home "Scarborough Chapel", 2900 Kingston Road, 416-267-4656, on Saturday, May 12th from 2-4 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the charity of your choice.
