ROBERT WAYNE MCCOMB, B.A. (Hon), LL.B, J.D. July 5, 1948 - July 3, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert Wayne McComb at his home in Caledon, Ontario. He leaves behind his beloved wife Janice (nee Irvine), and will be profoundly missed by his daughter Meaghan, son Taylor, step-daughter Sarah (Scott Corbett) and mother Bernice. Predeceased by his father John McComb and sister Joanne Goodbrand. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. In his early years, he spent many hours on the football field at Wilfrid Laurier University, where he obtained a B.A. (Hon). He later graduated from Windsor University with a Bachelors of Law and Degree of Juris Doctor from University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Among the multitude of accomplishments, he was a proud member of Mensa International. Rob was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending many days on the Key River with friends and family alike. He enjoyed reading and spending quality time with his companions, BayLee and Mya. Robert was a proud man, who adored his family and friends. He touched so many lives with his passion and drive for success. He was true to himself, a man of honour, integrity, generosity and abiding honesty. And for all of this, he will be truly missed. The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen Street S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) Sunday afternoon 1 - 4 o'clock and Monday morning, July 8 from 10 o'clock until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11 o'clock. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bolton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
