Robert Rennie Obituary

RENNIE, Robert (Bob) Stewart - It is with a great deal of sadness we announce the passing of a beloved father, father-in-law, and grampa (grampy) on Friday, August 14th, 2009 in his 81st year. Bob put up a courageous yet short battle with cancer and has now found peace, to be reunited with his beloved wife Patricia (1987), his dear friend and companion Jennifer Heeps (2007) and sisters Lynn and Jeanette. Bob, a long retired employee of Abitibi Price, enjoyed his life to the fullest, travelling, playing golf but most importantly spending time with family and friends. Bob leaves behind son Kent (Deborah), son Greg (Pamela) and 4 adored grandchildren Erin (Ryan), Tyler (Kari), Carley and Braydon truly the 'loves' of his life! He will be sadly missed by his dear sister Margot Burgner, all extended family and dear friend Erla Jersak. He will also be missed by his 'pals' Molly and Sasha. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toronto Humane Society or a charity of your choice in Bob's memory. A private family service will be held Wednesday, August 26th in Alliston with interment at a later date in Toronto.

Dear Kent and Greg: Bob and I went to school together at the Toronto Normal Model School - so many years ago. When it closed, we both went on to Brown School. We have had many reunions of the Grade 8 classes and have seen Bob several times during the past few years. How sad to see that he has passed away. Isobel (Wilson) Chiswell

Deb,Kent,Erin & Ryan,Tyler & Kari, Greg & Pam: So very sad to hear of Bob's untimely and unfortunate battle with cancer. There's no question that he fought hard, but this was bigger and stronger than he was. Happily, he is in a painfree place now, but unhappily he is no longer with us. As you mourn, hopefully you will also be able to smile once in awhile as you remember such a vibrant man with a beautiful smile and a zest for life. Lots of Love, Lorrie, Jay, Nat, Gra Dugale
