ROBERT RUFFINO Obituary

RUFFINO, ROBERT FRANCIS September 17, 1939 - December 30, 2021 We are broken hearted to announce Bob's peaceful passing, after a short illness. He was the adored son of Angela and Effisio. Brother of Joan DeLuca, and Frances Zaza. Dearly loved husband of Yolanda (Ann), nee Blasioli. Cherished father of Kim and Robert Jr. Cousin and uncle. Devoted friend of Leo, Gino, Frank, Joe and his Tim's coffee buddies and many more who have left before him. Bob spent over 50 years working in Graphic Arts. He was deemed and excellent lithographer, salesman and troubleshooter. His passion was hockey and baseball. Bob played goal and coached for many years. "Hard to score on Ruffino". He also played ball, coached and umpired as late as this past October. He will surely be missed on the diamonds around Alliston. We loved '50s music and always danced together, wow, could he dance. If you think of him smile, if you speak of Bob, be kind. Rest in Eternal Glory our love. www.thomasfuneralhome.ca

My sympathy to Ann and the family. I knew Bob before he and Ann met. I played hockey with and against him numerous times and I have nothing but respect for him. He was a very good goalie and an even better person. We will miss him.

Ann and Family, I offer my sincerest condolences. Bobby and I played together from minor midget, Junior, Italian League. Oldtimers. Over 25 years of being teammates. We were a proud bunch and Bobby our beloved goalie was always a leader, a man we all could count on. We didn't see much after hockey socially, but wherever we met we just nodded because we knew what respect we had for each other. Bobby was the best teammate and may he rest in peace.
