Robert SILC Obituary

SILC, Robert Tony January 20, 1964 - December 17, 2017 Passed away suddenly on Sunday at the age of 53. Rob was a loving husband of Noelle for 18 years and a dedicated, devoted dad of Evan and Daniel. Rob was predeceased by his father Joseph and will be sadly missed by his mother Ivanka, his brother Daniel (Alanna), his nephews Adam, Joshua, Roth, his mother-in-law Donna (predeceased by Charles)(Will), his brother-in-law Joey (Karen) and niece Sara. Rob's memory will be cherished by his many loyal family members and friends. Friends will be received on Friday, December 22nd at the Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough between 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. for Visitation. Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Memorial donation may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. For more information, please visit www.etouch.ca

It was heart breaking to hear of Rob's sudden passing. I had the pleasure of coaching Rob and Dan at U of T. Rob was a wonderful guy to be around. He was such a good person and a good teammate. I wish I had known him as a dad and husband because I'm sure he was the best.

So sorry to hear about Rob , I had the pleasure of playing hockey with Rob in the 80s , such a good guy and great great player ! As we would say " smooth as silk " what a shock to loose such a good man !

So sorry for your lost I watched Bob and Dan grow up to be great men Bob loved to hunt just last year
We were joking with him about deer can:t believe he's says that he never seen so many tracks and no deer AND WE LAUGHED about it
