ROBERT J. SMALL Robert (Bob) Small passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge, Stratford, Ontario, on March 9, 2016 at the age of 87. Beloved brother of Joyce Carter (Don) and Ruth Ball. Favourite "Uncle Bob" to many nieces and nephews of the Small, Carter and Ball families. Predeceased by parents Amy and Frank Small, brother Jack Small and his wife Ruth, brother-in-law Ralph Ball and niece Barbara Small. Bob worked for Bell Canada as a Technician for 37 years. He was a lifetime member of York Revolver Club and lifetime member of Outdoor Life. For many years Bob was President of Nipissing Hunt Club and received many awards for marksmanship. He was an avid hunter and loved to be out in the wilds. Bob was a member of the Whitby Yacht Club where he enjoyed sailing for many years. The family would like to thank the staff of Spruce Lodge for its kindness and care given to Bob and his family. At Bob's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at the James A. Rutherford Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford.
