WHITTEN, Robert Joseph - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert on Saturday, September 18, 2010, peacefully, surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Bernice. Loving father of Robert and his wife Edda. Cherished grandfather of Robbie and Eric. He will always be their COACH. Sadly missed by his brother and sisters, nieces and nephews and friends. Family and friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Yorke' Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of Jane subway, Toronto, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. 'Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass... it is about learning to dance in the rain'
