I worked with Robin around 1988/1990, and afterwards when he was known to me as Dr. Novell. A great guy, so smart, such a pleasure to work with and to share a few beers with after work. So sorry to hear of his passing so young.

My deepest sympathies to his wife April MacDonell. This was so sudden and tragic. His Mum was such a wonderful lady and was so loved by Robin and April. They were so dedicated to her. Dundas will be rocked once again. He left his mark on everyone and he will be remembered.

I was extremely saddened to hear this very sad news. I enjoyed working with Robin on a couple of occasions during his time at IBM and enjoyed periodically catching up online in recent months. We shared some very good laughs over a few evenings; I will miss his humour and generosity. My deepest condolences.

Robin was a good friend for over 25 years. When his Mom couldn't keep her little Shih tzu puppy Robin gave him to me. The best gift I've ever received. Robin was always there with good, logical advice. He was a positive influence on my life and I already miss the Facebook texts and emails. Rest in peace my friend. I will miss you.

Barb, We are so saddened to hear of the passing of Robin. He was taken away from you too soon, specially that you were on a beautiful journey together.
