When my daughter Paige was about 5 years old (she's now 16) we were walking home in a bad snow storm when we saw Rocco, and could tell he was having a problem navigating the sidewalk in the deep snow. So, like most people would, I took his arm and helped him home. In all the years since the time Paige and I helped him, Rocco never forgot that day and would always mention it to people he was with whenever I saw him as well as always asking about Paige. I'm sure that his faith helped him come to terms with his illness and that he has been reunited with his brother and can look down at us now with clear vision. I'm really going to miss him. My condolences to the whole family, in particular his nephew Tony who I know will really feel his loss.

Rocco is our beloved cousin, glue of our "family cloth", inspiration, bright light, and peacemaker. We will forever marvel at his part human, part divine natures. He never wanted to be told of limitations, but showed us all, endless possibilities.
He will live in our hearts forever.
