MORGAN, Dr. Roger E. - Of Sundridge. Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital - Scollard Site on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in his 80th year. Roger Morgan, beloved husband of Beverley Morgan. Loving father of Blake, George (Leslie), Heather (Mark) Hoskins and Ray (Joanne). Cherished grandfather of Hayley, Erin, Luke, Patrick and Ryan. Dear brother of Elizabeth (Bill) Wright. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends in the area. Family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. A celebration of his life to follow in the summer. Dear Mrs Morgan and Family,
Dr Morgan was my family doctor when I lived in Sudbury. I remember him as a gentle, kind and professional man and I know that my Aunt Nor ( who I think was his nurse) revered him. I remember that he made house calls to my family when someone was ill and how special I thought that was.
When all my friends were getting their ears pierced, my mother insisted that I get Dr Morgan to do it. Not the best use of his education but he never batted an eye.
I am very sorry to hear of his passing and send my sincere condolences,
