Jan:Ron was a brother - in - law to a brother - in - law, and I remember the energy in the room always being turned up a notch when Ron entered a Runstedler function. I always enjoyed on the few occasions our paths crossed the conversations about baseball and umpiring and I must admit that Ron had more and better stories than I did. So sorry. Ron seemed always someone to look up to - at Oakwood Collegiate -a year ahead of me and then pleased to see him when both of us worked at TBE. Hope your happy memories help to console you.
