Ron HEWITT Obituary

HEWITT, Ron - Ron Hewitt, 64, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 21, 2014 from a heart attack. He was born September 10, 1950 to Carl and Ruth Smith Hewitt in Scarborough, Ontario. Ron lived a full life and was perhaps most happy sitting on the deck of his cottage with his dog Remy by his feet. We remember him then and how he could captivate a room with his incredible sense of humour and talent for conversation. He is survived by his mother and step-father Ruth and Jack Foster, wife Dale (Axson) Hewitt, daughters Kelly (Hewitt) Damas and Kristin (Hewitt) Chammas, granddaughter Sienna Chammas, brother Roy Hewitt, sisters-in-law Mary-Lou (Claire) Hewitt and Donna (Axson) Sproston. The family has decided to have a private service in memory of Ron.

To Ron family I would like to express my deepest regrets. Although I have not seen, Ronnie, as I knew him for many, many years I have strong memories of a very decent person. I was 6 years older, yet I was, even then aware, that he was a good guy. My regards to his mother who I knew well, his brother Roy and the entire family in this most difficult time. Mike MacDonald
