LAFLEUR, Ron Passed away peacefully at his home in Niagara Falls, ON, on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Carol for 45 years. Devoted father of Brian (Anna), Dan (Tasha), Mike (Leanne), and Katharine Lyall (Joshua). Cherished Papa of Rose, Reed and Moses. Dear brother of Ray (Joyce) and the late Diane Rowley and brother-in-law of Rick Rowley (Linda), Leane Delhoy (late Brian), Lynda Shawanda and Cindy Paibomsai (Floyd). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Lucien and Irene Lafleur and brothers-in-law, Gary Shawanda and David Shawanda. Great memories of Ron and brother Ray as they were two of our officers when I was in the Air Cadets 555Maple Leaf Squadron. An inspiring gentleman, a role model and someone I always looked up to. Sad to see him go so young. Deepest condolences to all his beloved family. He is overlooking us from above with his smile! RIP Ron. WO1 Joe Ponte

Deepest sympathies to all Ron's family on his passing. Ron and Ray were both very inspiring during my career as an Air Cadet with 555 Maple Leaf Squadron in Montreal. Ron was very motivational when it came to my flying career. Thank you and Rest In Peace Ron.
