RONALD DARWIN ASHBY Suddenly on Monday, June 27, 2011 at home in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Wendy. Loving father of Debbie and her husband George Duin, Ron Jr. and his wife Tina, Neal and Emilie. Dear step-father of Nicole McReavy and Dan Thomson and his wife Holly. Dear grandfather of John-Peter (Melanie), Jordan, Mandy, Charlie, Matthew and Joshua. Brother of Joan Ashby and her spouse Rod Parrott, Larry (William) Ashby, Donna and her husband Ron Brimacombe. He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews. Ronald was a member and Deacon of Christ Lutheran Church and he was a bible study leader at Linhaven Home for the Aged. Ronald was a retired Insurance Representative with MetLife and FaithLife Financial as well as Computer Networking Programmer with Expedo on oceangoing ships around the world. Mr. Ashby is at the NIAGARA ST. CHAPEL of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME, 424 Niagara St. (south of Scott), St. Catharines, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 140 Russell Ave. on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Brampton Memorial Gardens.
