RONALD ROBSON Obituary

RONALD ROBSON November 6, 1916 - March 28, 2015 Passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Oakville- Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after a long and fulfilling life. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Eva, Sister Betty Foster, son Stephen, daughter-in-law Audrey, grandchildren Carol (Graham Lane) and Vicki (Brad Lord) and great-grandchildren Andrea, Jessica, Nathan and Sarah. He emigrated from England in 1953 with Eva and Stephen and moved to Oakville in 1955 while working for Ford Motor Company. He retired from the City of Mississauga in 1981 where he worked as a construction inspector for many years. He was an avid square dancer but his passion was lawn bowling and he was President and a longtime member of the Oakville Lawn Bowling Club. Many thanks to the staff at The Kensington Retirement Residence, where he spent his last few years, for their kindness and loving care. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Oakville Lawn Bowling Club at 111 King Street in Oakville on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. He will be missed.
