SOUTHGATE, Ronald - At St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Friday, February 8, 2013, Ron Southgate of Burlington in his 73rd year. Beloved husband for 30 years of Heather. Loving father of Kelli Rixon (Randy), Vicki Chadwick (Cam), Roni-Lee Forbes (John) and Bobbi Leckie (Scott), all of Burlington. Cherished grandpa of Sarah, Jennah, Shannon, Krista, Danny, Brad, Nicole and Tyler. Also lovingly remembered by Dian Southgate, Peter and Marilyn Ferguson and Daphne Ferguson. Ron is a retired longtime Staff Sergeant with the Halton Regional Police Service. Private Cremation. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), Burlington (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where a Celebration of Ron's Life will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home.
