Ronald Wren Obituary

WREN, Ronald Richard - Ron Wren of Thornbury passed away peacefully on Christmas evening after spending a wonderful day with his family. Ron was born in Toronto on March 14, 1931, son of the late Colin and Olive (née Brotherton) Wren. He will now join his beloved wife Beverley (née Bower) who predeceased him in 1996. He is survived by his son Todd of Toronto and his son Rod and wife Jennifer (née Pelling) and their children Shawna and Zackeri of Kimberley. Ron was predeceased by his sisters Phyllis Beasley, Betty Mullen and Colleen Cane. He will be dearly missed by his nephew Michael Mullen and wife Betty and their family. As were Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial reception will be held at The Raven Golf Club, Lora Bay on Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 1 until 3 p.m. As your expression of sympathy, donations in Ron's memory may be made to the charity of your choice through the Ferguson Funeral Home, The Valley Chapel, P.O.
