Ruby Chung Obituary

CHUNG, Ruby (Ho Lung) - Passed away peacefully on April 2, 2010 at Markhaven Home for Seniors in Markham in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband Ernest (1977). Loving mother of Yvonne (late Vincent; Gerry), Phyllis (Michael), Nicole (late Jackie), Avery (Edmond), Penny, Philip, Jeffery (Pamela) and Bridgette (Gregory). Predeceased by her siblings Iris Ho Lung, Winifred Olivier and William Ho Lung, father of Rev. Richard Ho Lung, MOP. Survived by one brother, Aubrey Ho Lung of BC. Sadly missed by her 20 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren. Visitation at HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME - MARKHAM CHAPEL, 10 Cachet Woods Ct., 905-887-8600 (northeast corner of Hwy. 404 and l6th Ave.) on Tuesday, April 6 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Markham (5633 Hwy. 7). Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge St., Thornhill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carmel Heights Seniors Residence (Building Fund) 1720 Sherwood Forrest Cir., Mississauga, ON L5K 1R1 or Friends of the Poor (Canada) Inc., PO Box 356, Markham, ON L3P 3J8.
