Ruby Clara Davis

RUBY CLARA DAVIS (nee STEVENS) December 17, 1911 - April 9, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of Ruby Clara Davis (nee Stevens) announces her passing on Friday, April 9, 2010, in her 99th year at Extendicare Guildwood Nursing Home in Scarborough. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Davis, Ruby leaves her sister Mae Weller (and the late Gerry) and brother Bob (Gina). She is predeceased by her parents Wellington and Minnie Stevens, brothers William Stevens, Herb Stevens (Marg) and Jim Stevens (Jill) and sisters Tress Sabin (Norm) and Edna Thompson (Richard). Ruby will be lovingly remembere d by her many nieces, nephews and friends. As Ruby's one final lasting gift and as she requested, her body has been donated to science. A celebration of Ruby's life will take place on Saturday, May 1st beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Debbie Woods in Pickering, 905-831-5633. The family would like to thank the staff at the Extendicare Guildwood for the care they showed to Ruby.
