Ruby Lessor

LESSOR, Ruby Viola (nee Wile) Passed away peacefully in her home at Markhaven Home for Seniors, with her family by her side, on May 17, 2008, in her 91st year. Ruby was predeceased by her husband Roy, her son Douglas, and daughter-in-law Marion. Ruby's smile and her caring ways will be missed by her children, Robert and Lew Lessor of Charlotte, N.C., Wayne and Wendy Lessor of Whitby, David and Diane Lessor of Amherstburg, Maureen and David Dudley of Unionville, Judy and Cory Foote of Whitby, as well as her grandchildren Kevin, Kim, David, Michelle, Jennifer, Ryan, Lindsay, Sean, Shannon, Jordan, Ashley, Tyler, and Jody, as well as her great-grandchildren Caroline, Jeremy, Gregory, Elizabeth and Cullen. Visitation will be held at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N., Markham (Markham Road), on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at Central United Church, 131 Main Street, Unionville on Friday at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sleeping Children Around the World (www.scaw.org) and The Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated. The family expresses a deep appreciation to the staff of Markhaven.
