RUDOLF KUBELA Ph. D., P. Eng. January 6, 1934 - May 9, 2012 Scientist, chemist, engineer, mentor and inventor: loving and beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A man of great strength, intensity, creativity and exceptional intelligence, Rudi was born in Kosice, Czechoslovakia on January 6, 1934, surviving both the Second World War and Communism. Arriving in Canada in 1965 and starting from scratch, he built a remarkable and fulfilling life for himself and his family. Respected, admired, accomplished, adored and deeply loved, Rudi was a proud and honourable man whom we are all proud and honoured to know.
