Dear Barb, this sad news was so hard to hear and please accept our deepest sympathy for you and your family from our family. Russ always had a big smile and a kind word for everyone. It seems like yesterday as new MCC Commodores Dave and I would walk the course with you & Russ, asking your advice and learning so much from you both. We'll never forget him and when the night sky sparkles with thousands of stars we'll pick the brightest star and think of Russ.

Dear Barb and family,
We were saddened by the news of Russ' passing. We have many fond memories of Russ paddling the canoe on one knee with Barb sitting in the front, sitting by the camp fire with our family and him packing up early on Sunday to drive back to Toronto!
He was a true gentleman, cherish the memories.

Hi Folks,

You don't know me but I grew up with Russ on Wineva Avenue, just a few houses apart. One winter day, after we delivered papers, we explored the ice floes down at the lake. I slipped in and Russ used the rope, with which our newspapers had been delivered, too help me out of the icy water. I played hockey and baseball and Russ joined the Club. We went our separate ways. Whenever I was back in TO I almost always had a chance to talk with him at the BBCC.
May the Lord comfort you and your family. May God have mercy on his soul!

My family and I share many fond memories of the times we spent with Russ.

Be it at our old cottage or his, John, the kids and I spent many summers getting up to no good while the kids kept us in line.
Russ was like that, laid back yet someone who adored children.

He will be missed, by myself and my children.

Sincerely,

Marg.

He's one of a kind.

My thoughts go to Russ' family.
