Stephen, Theresa and Mary *(and Kathy who is already with the Angels),
Ruth was a true friend to me and whom will be remembered for her kindness, her tenacity , her sense of humour, her love of family and all the good times we spent together...
I remember like it was yesterday we traveled together to Montreal and visited the beautiful Cathedral. By chance the (new) Cardinal Leger unexpectedly appeared and Ruth bravely congratulated him in her best high school French ! (To her delight and his amusement...)
When the new Crescent Town Apartment complex opened up Ruth donned her Go-Go boots to well the new addition to the community.
Ruth worked as a costumed docent at the Historic Campbell house , she thoroughly enjoyed sharing the storied history of the building and its occupants.
Ruth was also proud that her maiden name was 'Campbell' too...
Ruth was a tireless worker, she loved her family, the many young children she worked with over the years ... her many friends and all the Staff and acquaintances at Providence Villa.
May God be good to her soul,
Goodbye old friend,
Love,
Sheila and James Molloy
and sincere condolences from our daughters : Andrea, Margarita, Loretta and Delia.
For Ruth:
"God saw you getting weary,
So he did what he thought best.
He put his arms around you,
And whispered come & rest."

Dearest Stephen, Theresa and Mary and families -
It would be incredibly hard to envision growing up on Bingham Ave. without your mom as a big part of the picture. Her strength in the face of hardship, her humour in times of sorrow and her genuine warmth when things seemed cold. Her smile is as fresh in my mind now as it has been for the last 50 years. An incredibly good friend to my own mom, and a light at the end of any tunnel, however long, however dark. I will miss her more than you can know.
My heart goes out to all of you. Stay strong - there are still so many tomorrows...
love,
Thom
