CAVERLEY, Ruth Margaret Peacefully, at Belleville General Hospital on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Beloved wife of Bill (deceased 2008) of 49 years. Dear mother of Clifford, Karen, Stephen (Laura) and Renee (Brendan). Cherished grandmother of Mick, Hailey, Keira, Ethan, Gabriel, Daniel, Anthony and Diana. Survived by brother John (Dee) Cooney. She will be dearly remembered by her brother-in-law Donald Stephen and sisters-in-law Jill Stephen, Elizabeth Cooney and Eva Cooney. Loving aunt of John, Patty, Theresa, Margo, Peter, Veronica, Marlene, Paul, Shannon, Erinn, Bill, Kathleen, D'Arcy, Christopher and Andrew. Resting at PAUL O'CONNOR FUNERAL HOME, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E. (between Pharmacy and Warden), on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. in St. Bonaventure Church (Leslie, south of Lawrence). Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology Department and the 5th floor at Belleville General Hospital, and to the staff at Eden Place Retirement and Wellness Home in Belleville. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity, 185 Dunn Ave., Toronto, ON M6K 2S1, would be appreciated.

I was very sorry to learn of Ruth's death. Ruth and her daughter Karen were regulars at the St. Bonaventure daily mass, but then at a point in time I didn't see them any more and did not know where to contact them. Ruth was a kind and serious Catholic. May God rest her soul. Martha Kremer
