LEVINE, Ruth (nee Dover) - Peacefully, in Montreal on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Beloved wife of Harry for sixty years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sandra and Harvey Kaplan, Simon Levine, Anna and Sam Tischler. Cherished grandmother of Adrian and Jennifer Kaplan, Sheryl and Warren Osak, Nathan, Barry and Naomi Tischler. Proud great- grandmother of Lily and Max Kaplan and Jordan and Jayson Osak. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, William Dover, Harry and Pearl Dover, Conn and Irene Dover, Sarah Dover, Rae and Robert Goodman and Felix Marin, Minnie and Saul Cohen, Gertrude and Jack Steinberg. Sister-in-law of Dora and the late Hyman Cohos, Gilda and the late Sol Levine, Lil and Sol Horowitz, Shirley and Jack Klein, the late Ida and the late Henry Itcovitch, the late Sam and the late Rose Levine, the late Betty and the late Moe Abramovitch. Caring aunt to her nieces and nephews and thoughtful friend to many. She was a woman of dignity and kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Sunday, April 25 at 1 p.m. Shiva at 5740 Rembrandt Ave. No. 705, CSL, Sunday through Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
